Trident®
The Trident® vehicle arresting system is a lightweight man portable device; it can be rapidly deployed to arrest a range of vehicles. Unique hollow spikes on the leading edge of the Trident® pierce the front tires of the target vehicle; the Trident® then envelops the front tires and is pulled tight under the vehicle. This allows the system to go with the suspect vehicle after contact, removing the need for the officer to enter the road. Simple design is not dependent on complicated and unreliable technology such as wires and remote controls.
Rapid Deployment
The Trident® vehicle arresting system is manufactured using 36 sharp hollow spikes. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the spikes or unnecessary handling to avoid injury. Trident® can be quickly deployed by throwing the device in the path of a suspect’s vehicle.

The Trident® tire deflation device used by law enforcement to safely and quickly end high-speed automotive pursuits.
